Which year levels does PrepPath cover?
PrepPath currently covers Years 3, 5, 7, and 9 — the four NAPLAN year levels. More year levels are coming soon.
Which subjects are available?
Numeracy and Language Conventions are available now. Reading and Writing are coming soon.
What is the difference between Classic and AI Generated questions?
Classic questions are instantly generated by our algorithm — unlimited, always available, NAPLAN-aligned, and include diagram questions (clocks, 3D shapes, graphs, number lines). AI Generated questions use Gemini AI for more varied wording and scenarios, but are text-only (no diagrams) and may occasionally be unavailable if the AI service is at capacity.
What does the timer do?
Timed mode uses real NAPLAN pacing — 75 seconds per question for Numeracy, 60 seconds for Language Conventions. When time runs out, the quiz ends automatically and you go straight to results.
What do I get by creating a free account?
Creating a free account unlocks three things: (1) Session history — every quiz you complete is saved so you can track your progress over time. (2) Smart question rotation — PrepPath remembers which questions you've already answered correctly and won't show them again in future sessions, so every practice session is fresh. (3) Targeted repetition — questions you got wrong are kept in the pool and repeated until you master them. Guest users (no account) get unlimited practice but their history is stored only on the current device and resets if the browser cache is cleared.
Why does my session history not show?
Session history requires you to be signed in. Complete a quiz while logged in and your session will appear under My Progress.
My answer was marked wrong but I think it's correct — what should I do?
Some questions accept multiple formats (e.g. '12 pm' and '12:00 pm' are both accepted). If you believe there is a genuine error, please contact us and include the question and your answer.
Is PrepPath free?
Yes — PrepPath is completely free to use.
How do I reset my password?
On the login page, use the 'Forgot password?' link to reset your password via email.
